Reduced speed.
CLAAS rotary rakes use the straightest possible drivelines to get power where it is needed most, the rotor. This has two benefits, minimal power losses from direction changes in gearboxes and minimal lateral stresses at driveline connections. This means PTO speed can be reduced to a minimal speed, fuel consumption is lowered, and delicate leaves are retained in the crop.
