SMART DENSITY density management.

Our goal is to maximize your trips across the field and the quality of the baled crop. VARIANT round balers have unmatched bale density in all crops, from wet baleage to dusty straw, and at the same time are able to provide you with a  real soft core, e.g. for hay.  SMART DENSITY therefore means less feed loss, better feed-to-gain, and more money in your pocket - be it because of optimal nutrient preservation in densely packed silage bales, or because of less residue in your ring feeders due to the Soft Core Hay.


Crop flow.

Reliability and performance are two things that shouldn't be questionable when talking about the baler's crop flow. VARIANT round balers are built to handle all types of crops from sticky fescue to delicate alfalfa. The pickup, crop guard, and rotor are all positioned close together for seamless hand-off of the crop and to limit the risk of plugging. Even in high volume crops, the incoming material can be seen from the operator's seat. With the excellent view of the pick-up while working, you can adjust the work rate as required and thus achieve maximum performance.


Tying cycle.

Round baling systems require the machine to stop briefly while the bale is wrapped or tied. To limit downtime spent wrapping the bale, a high belt speed of 9.8ft/sec (3 m/s) ensures an extremely quick cycle time. Additionally, bale tying is started automatically when the set bale diameter is reached.
